big pig’s small space {houston baby photographer}

We live in a small space.  We actually like the small space.  Pig’s room (and I use that term loosely) is a 5 feet by 7 feet ‘nook’ in our bedroom.  She got a big girl bed and I used that chance to FINALLY finish her room the way it was meant to be.  I am so very much in love with the way it turned out and I think she is pretty fond of it too.

When I told my friends, any one of them that I wanted an all white room I got the same response…a blank stare.  I think everyone, husband included, thought I had lost my mind.  Luckily my mother got it and helped me by making the bedding and curtains.

(The pictures are a bit funky, but I don’t have time to go back and ‘defunk’ them.)

My little piggy’s palace:

Bed: DaVinci Elizabeth Toddler Bed
All linens and sweet little doll made by my mother who will be opening an etsy shop this week!
Mobile
Frames used for the P-I-G letters where bought at Hobby Lobby and were a hideous fuchsia and black mess, but where redone by my way too awesome husband.  I did the letters.
‘I LOVE YOU SO’ banner
Sweater Pig
Dresser – I made my husband drive to Austin to get it from a really super awesome person.
The chubby, curly headed Pig in the white dress – made by yours truly. :)

stacey woods - I just have to say that your room has inspired me to redo my own babies’ room just a little more. It’s almost there, but needs a little more polishing and “whitening up”! Looking around my home, everything is so neutral and I love it. Shades of cream, white, gray, khaki, and it all just looks so clean (even when my house isn’t!). You are a very insightful photographer and are wonderful in design too, obviously. Fabulous job!!
